Learning Objectives

So, for some reason you have stumbled across this website. "Why is this here?" you ask. Well, I suppose you could say it is a bit of a vanity project, a bit of helping out on the web, and a bit of not wanting to bury something I spent a lot of time and effort on.

This site is for educational purposes only. I won't be able to answer questions, but I think I've taken the time to really lay out everything in a good way. I had some bad experiences with online courses so when I designed this course, I had a very distinct style in mind.

If you continue going through the course, you will find some intro videos to each topic. This is because I was told that I should include some type of video to connect with students, and I decided that if I did so, I wasn't going to make a boring video sitting at a desk, instead I would record the intros in various scenic locations. Hope you enjoy them.

The requirements for this course were basically a high end language C++, Java, something like that. Based on that, the first few modules are designed to make sure the student can get a functional development environment and be able to compile some Java code. After that, we start hitting more complex topics, now assuming you have your Java basics down.

If you do have comments or questions, feel free to email me at "webdevelopment" at the domain name that this website is listed. I figure if I put it in this format, it will be hard for people to scrape it off of the page for spam!

Hope you enjoy the site!
